A meaningful piece of jewelry starts with you—your style, your story, and the details that make it personal. At Liberty Diamonds in Irvine, our designers and jewelers work with you to turn those ideas into a piece you'll love wearing.
Whether you're envisioning an engagement ring, creating something to celebrate a milestone, or giving a treasured heirloom a new chapter, we'll guide you through each step.
1. SHARE YOUR VISION
Your custom design begins with a conversation. Bring inspiration photos, a sketch, an existing piece of jewelry, or simply an idea. You don't need to have every detail figured out—that's what we're here for.
Together, we'll explore your preferences, budget, and how you plan to wear your piece. We'll discuss diamonds or gemstones, metal choices, proportions, and setting styles, balancing the look you love with comfort and practical considerations for everyday wear.
For rings, that includes details such as band width, prong shape, setting height, and how your ring will sit alongside a wedding band.
2. SEE YOUR DESIGN TAKE SHAPE
Once we've established the concept, our in-house CAD designer creates a detailed digital model tailored to your selected stones and measurements.
These 3D renderings let you view the design from different angles and see how its elements work together before production begins. We'll walk through the design with you and discuss any refinements so you feel confident approving the next step.
Renderings illustrate the design; metal colors, reflections, and some details may appear different in the finished piece.
3. BRING YOUR DESIGN TO LIFE
Once you approve the design, our jewelers bring your piece to life in your chosen precious metal, carefully refining each detail and setting every diamond or gemstone by hand.
Your jewelry is then polished, finished, and inspected, with close attention to the settings, surfaces, and overall craftsmanship. Rhodium plating provides the finishing touch where appropriate for white gold designs.
When your piece is ready, we'll review it with you, check the fit where applicable, and explain how to care for it. The result is a piece created just for you, ready to wear and enjoy.
